PRADOSHAM, Rudra Abhishekam on Trayodasi - Monthly
RUDRA ABHISHEKAM is performed on PRADOSHAM on Trayodashi (13th tithi of Moon). Very auspicious day to worship Lord Shiva, and burn off karmas & sins.
Priests perform the Abhishekam on the Sahasra Lingam in Sri Venkateswara Temple. This lingam has 1000 small lingams carved on the sides, so it is equivalent to performing 1000 Rudra Abhishekams on one day!
